What is AI clipping?

AI clipping uses software to propose short excerpts from longer videos. In Variate, proposed moments are tied to transcript words, and a person reviews them before preparing a render. A shortlist is editorial assistance, not a prediction of virality.

Start with the source

Use content you are authorized to process and distribute, such as a podcast, interview, talk or original brand video. Variate transcribes the source and proposes excerpts without asking the model to invent video timestamps.

Review before rendering

The operator checks context and boundaries, approves a moment and saves an edit recipe. Caption, opening headline, trim and framing options prepare the clip for the intended canvas. Vertical and landscape formats are export choices; they do not imply a platform's approval.

Create and download the MP4

An explicit render produces the video. Successful current outputs appear in Final Videos and can be previewed or downloaded immediately. Folder export and ZIP packaging are optional. The operator should check caption accuracy, framing, audio and source rights before distribution.

What happens beyond clip generation?

Variate also supports creator campaign briefs, released assets and clipper submissions. These steps connect content preparation to distribution coordination. AI suggestions and editorial scores do not guarantee reach, lower acquisition costs or virality.
